Where You Are Meant to Be

  1. Beautiful words. Please know how much this meant to me to see this today. I adore that painting, too. I have "Mother and Child" by that same artist hanging in my living room.
    Thank you, Nancy.

  2. Oh, thank you for that! I've been in a new place of drawing near in trust for a few areas I didn't realize that I was fretting over. I just receive that precious word.

    Thank you!

  4. The image reminds me of my little one when she says repeatedly, "Mommy, I NEED you," as she hugs me or just wants to be near me :)

  5. To see this picture today, when I'm tired, distracted, and haven't spent enough time hugging and kissing those who think the world of hugs and kisses.....it tells me to keep my eyes and heart where they should be.

I've been wearily asking God if he could take me away from some difficult situations with difficult people. And St Therese's quote is the answer to that question.

How do the picture and the quote tie in together for me?
Do not ask that the present thorns be removed because they are willed, but to let the thorns take me back to loving and enjoying my husband and children more deeply - because that too is Heaven's will for me.
