Oh I love this insight of St John of the Cross. Is it not true that beauty is everywhere in some form or another? There are times and places this is a radical struggle at seeing but beauty will be there somewhere even if folded and tucked in a small dark place. I love God passing through and turning what he sees to beauty. Powerful meditation from a powerful saint. This is good to start a day out with...a centering of sorts. Thanks Nancy and may you enjoy the beauty in your spheres today!!!
Thank you! I am struck by what you said about this being, at times, a radical struggle at seeing. But the beauty is there.... we just have to wait for His light to break through...
Oh, how I want to be in that thicket...to have His glance fall upon even me!
