'Come, my Light,
and illumine my darkness.
Come, my Life,
and revive me from death.
Come, my Physician,
and heal my wounds.
Come, Flame of Divine Love,
and burn up the thorns of my sins,
kindling my heart with the flame of Your love.'

ReplyDeleteAmen amen amen!!!!
DeleteNancy, this sounds like something John of the Cross would have written. I lost your e-mail address and wanted to send you a Christmas greeting. Here goes:
ReplyDeleteHe came in history! He comes in mystery
For over 2000 years we have celebrated and in humble worship we bow
His coming. before Him.
First as a tiny child He came,
swaddled and laid in a manger.
Now in bread He comes,
hidden and held in loving hands.
Shepherds adored Him then in
response to Angels' song.
Now we, in awe, bow before Him
at His own bidding.
Now, as then He comes in love to
draw us to Himself.
Let us open out hearts to receive
Him at Christmas and always.
Wishing you a holy and joy filled Christmas!
Prayerfully,
Judy
How beautiful and inspiring, Judy! Thank you for sharing this here!
