"Creation is a great book. Look above you; look below you! Note it! Read it! ...
God did not write that book with ink. Instead, He set before your eyes
the things that He had made. Can you ask for a louder voice than that?
Why, heaven and earth cry out to you: 'God made me!'"

Thank you, Trish :) !
DeleteNancy,
ReplyDeleteThis quote echoes my thoughts! We've just returned from a trip to the Jenolan Caves. We stood in the caves, gazing with awe at all the beautiful limestone formations around us. Wow! They were unbelievable. They certainly turned our minds to God who created them.
Sue, I saw your post with the extraordinary pictures. What gorgeous caves! I thought of them again when I re-read this quote. ' Look above you; look below you.'I know you did!
DeleteLove this image!
ReplyDeletePatty, I woke up in the middle-of-the-night after posting this. Needing to settle back down, I came right over here and clicked on the image to enlarge it, and "watched" it until I fell back asleep! I'm so glad you like it too.
DeleteThe painting looks a lot like the woods around here! I would love to be in that sleigh...ahh. This post inspires me to look more closely, up and down and around, at all the gifts and beauty of Him we are steeped!! So grateful....
ReplyDeleteOooooh - you must live in a gorgeous area! God is indeed glorious, isn't He?
