"We can make these acts at any hour, we can multiply them, and how wonderful is their effect!...
"Who would
not, during the day,
multiply acts of love?
"You who are reading this, pause a minute and say 'My God, I love You! My God, I love You!'" (Father William Doyle)

I appreciate it, Brenda!
DeleteNancy, I feel as if you've been following me throughout my day, lol!
ReplyDeleteLittle aspirations like this are important spiritual tools and mean so much to me..they help me stay 'connected' to the Lord and a little more 'detached' from whatever is not Him. Besides that..is there anything sweeter or more meaningful to say than, "My God, I love You!" ??
Trish, surely there isn't anything sweeter! I am so thankful for the practice of aspirations.
DeleteA powerful mantra throughout our hours! Thank you for this beautiful insight....
ReplyDeleteThank you, and thanks be to God!
DeleteI was just pondering what aspiration I could use to praise God today, and again, I found my answer here ~ My God, I love Thee!
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God!
